Market Place (Turku)

The marketplace is the absolute downtown and city center of Turku/Abo. The activity starts already at 06 AM with flowers, fresh produce, fruits and fish and ends at 2 PM sharp with a whissle. Between 2 and 3 the market place is cleaned by water sprinkling cars and at 3 PM starts a flea market, (and always the same ones because it is only open to sellers who sign up and pay rent to the city for a 3 month period!)
