Candler Park Golf Course

This is the last of the city of Atlanta's golf courses. In the late 1970s, all of the city owned courses had fallen into a shameful state of disrepair. The city leased out operation of most of them to American Golf Corp. Piedmont Park GC was closed, as was White's GC on the west side of town. Candler Park was the only course to remain totally under city ownership.
